The Best Free Music in Wilmington!

May 1-September 25

Join us every Friday evening on the Mayfaire event lawn behind Ulta and World Market from 6pm until dark for our free Friday night concert series. We are so thrilled that our concerts have turned into a community and neighborhood event and we are pleased to offer Wilmington free concerts throughout the entire summer… 22 weeks to be exact! One of the best things about this event is it's completely free; from the parking to the lawn lounging to the music. Just bring a blanket or chairs and pack your cooler and picnic basket with delicious items from Harris Teeter or The Fresh Market. If you don't have time to pack a gourmet picnic, you can pick something up from one of Mayfaire's 20 eateries or grab a meal from Chick-Fil-A who is at the concert every Friday.

Mayfaire's Music on the Town provides something for everyone. The series delivers a line-up of bands appealing to all ages and representing a myriad of musical tastes (Beach, oldies, rock, country, and the “best of” cover songs). Additionally, there will be activities and diversions new this year. Jumpin Party Rentals will be out every Friday with 2 blow-up Jumping Castles, cotton candy and snow cones (for a fee); Giggles Drop-In Childcare will be providing arts and crafts for kids (every other week); Jones Landscaping & Maintenance will occasionally provide a Mayfaire hay-ride! And don't forget, the Mayfaire businesses are open for business until 9pm.

This event is also pet friendly, so it can be a real family affair.

The Mayfaire canvas goodie bags will be given away to the first 100 attendees on the first Friday of every month, filled with coupons, gifts and samples from the Mayfaire stores and restaurants. Our Sponsors will also be onsite each week offering goods, services and freebies.
