A Social & Business Connecting Group

Brian and I were talking the other day about the people that we've done business with that are members of WPG. We thought it would be a good idea to start a testimonial discussion. Please join in by posting your experiences with fellow WPG members!

Ok, I'm going to start with Nick Kentrolis of Crest Fitness. I've known Nick for over 20 years! I can't even believe that. Brian and I recently started working out at the Crest with Nick, and our two new buddies Jessica Reed and Elaine Huston (also WPG members). Nick is really helping us stay consistent---most of the time '-) He sends us Facebook messages and emails throughout the week to encourage us. If you're looking for a fun, not crowded place to work out with people who really care about you, try Crest Fitness. You can check out Nick's profile at

Tell Nick Andrea sent you! '-)

I have to give props to my friends (and yours) at Your Computer Friends. Susan Kadar and her son Joe have helped us out more times than I can count. I LOVE the newsletters that I get with very helpful information about my computer, viruses, preparing for storms, etc. And I love that I can call or email Susan and always get an immediate, yet well thought out response to my questions. But what I love most of all is how patient Joe is with me. He's been to our home office several times and he is so helpful, patient and calm...when I'm about to pull my hair out, Joe talks me down in his calm, reassuring tone and somehow, all is well in the world.

If you don't have a computer support person in your life like that, I encourage you to connect with Susan and Joe immediately. Even if you don't need them now, YOU WILL in the future.

Ok, I have to admit this...before Brian and I left for the SendOutCards National Convention in Salt Lake City, we got our very first spray tans at North Chase Spalon! Yes, it's true. Sandy Powell sprayed us down and turned us tan. And of course, since I was sporting my first spray tan, I had to have a new hair cut to go with it so Sandy hooked me up. I found out half way through our appointment that Sandy actually stayed open late just to accommodate us. That really meant a lot Sandy, thank you!

Brian's going to kill me for telling all 100 of you about this, but I just had to publicly thank Sandy for a job well done. We loved our tans! Sorry, Brian '-)

I saw a girl at out church today with a purple hair extension. She must have gone to see Sandy too! Check out the Alzheimers Association fundraiser at

I don't think she's on this site yet, but most of you know Toni with Noni Bacca winery. Oh my gosh, what an awesome place. As many of you know, Toni opened up her place to host the August WPG meeting--what a great time that was! I had the pleasure of attending a small event there just last week and again, Toni came through. If you haven't been there at all, or in a while, I encourage you to stop by and say hello. Toni and her husband have been very good to many of our members by allowing them to sponsor private events there. What a blessing they are to our networking efforts!

I have to clear up my professional status here and write that there are reasons that I got the spray on tan. Prior to going to the SendoutCards National Convention we heard rumors of a Beach Party the last night at the event. I wanted to fit the part. I've been a surfer since I was 15, about a millennium ago. So I burn and peel bad if I don't use sunscreen.
Sun-tanning is not smart. You are burning your skin!

If you continue to tan in the sun, I have a great Dermatologist I can refer you to for skin cancer screening and I had an awesome surgeon that saved my life by removing the melanoma. I can show you the scar and that might keep you out of the sun.

Also, I have had skin cancer and it was a very painful operation. Sandy and I met for an appointment to learn more about each others businesses and when she mentioned her brother had died of skin cancer at an early age, I thought that she was spot on for letting me know that spray tan is safer and a smarter way to go and it saves time. I'm all for that and so is my wife Andrea as she is a Productivity Consultant.

Gretchen and Rachel did a wonderful job last night. I know many members of the group expressed interest in getting a massage.

I can attest to the incredible, very relaxing, stress relieving massage that both Gretchen and Rachel give. I have been a client of Gretchen's for a year or more. She is a super person and friend, as well as a great Massage Therapist.

She also travels and will come to you so you don't have to deal with the traffic after your massage. Her room in her home is very comfortable and it is a soothing atmosphere.

Rachel has a really great technique that I have never experienced before. She is very good also. They have formed an awesome team together!

Go get a double massage from the blonde duo!

Hello WPG Members!

I have to give a testimonial on Josh Caine and his work he does at his company - Past, Present and Future Digital. I met Josh a year ago at while visiting the Networking Group XNB. I approached Josh as he entered the side door of the City Tavern. Both of us were just visiting the group that day and were looking for someone to talk to. I thought to myself that this dude looks cool so I'll speak to him and get his name and ask him what he does. As soon as he told me that he could take my old surfing video's and transfer them to DVD, I told him immediately that I would do business with him. I wanted to preserve those videos because I have on one video of Kelly Slater surfing in California at the age of 12. Now he has won 9 World Surfing Champion Titles. Josh transferred many hours of video and I preserved them for many lifetimes and I can share them with others. If they were in my attic on a VHS tape they would be melted and ruined. Josh gives special attention to detail and let's you sit at his desk and edit the videos just the way you want them on DVD. The jewel cases turned out really cool too with still pictures on them from the video.

Thanks Josh! Now future generations can view these videos for many years to come! I'll be passing them on to my future children/GROMS!

Take your old VHS tapes to Josh and let him transfer them to DVD's !!!!

Hi WPG Members,

Another member I would recommend is Chef Lori Eaton. Lori has cooked for Andrea and I in the past. We met Lori through BNI and she came to our house and made meals for us that lasted 2 weeks. The meals she made covered breakfast, lunch and dinner. We hired Lori because we did a Detox and she suggested that we hire her to prepare the meals for us because she knew what to prepare and what we needed for nutrition too.

Lori cooks delicious meals. She cooks in your kitchen. She brings a cart with everything she needs so she doesn't use your pans, utensils, food storage containers, etc. The best part is you don't have to plan what you are going to make for dinner or cook it. Lori also cleans up when she is done and most of the time leaves it cleaner than she found it.

If you find yourself ordering out a lot or going through drive thru's for dinner, then you need to hire Chef Lori. Bring the family back to the dinner table. It's important for the family to take time to interact with one another. www.eatonathome.com is better than Eaton Out!

You Rock Lori!

Andrea and I purchased our laminate flooring from Floorz to your Doorz which is owned by Sarah Davis. We met Sarah through our church family at Glad Tidings Community Church, but introduced her to the WPG in February of 2008. Sarah is a professional business woman with a background of many years in the family flooring business. She is easy going and is always on time and is service oriented.

Her contractor is a friend of ours too. Joe Cenname' is a hard worker and does it right the first time. Joe will work until the job is completed.

See pictures of our floors below.

Andrea and I celebrated our 13th year married anniversary. For the special occasion we decided to try Drift & Dream over off of N. Kerr Ave (Behind Whitey's Restaurant) Many of our members gave us positive feedback on the float tank and the experience they had.

We did a package deal which was the Valentine's special, because I booked the appointment 2 weeks in advance. One of us relaxed to soothing soft music while the other got in the tank for an hour, then we switched up.

The tank is dark inside and sound proof so you totally just relax. It has many healing strengths being in the salt water.

Thanks Valorie! Sorry we missed you!
